Last year I bought a pair of ECCO hiking shoes. They are the most comfortable shoes I have. They provide excellent stability and great traction for all terrain events. Although fairly costly they were an excellent investment. I bought them at Sherman Shoes in the Village on Kercheval. Total cost was $132.00 plus tax. I also found them to be very competent in absorbing shock through my heels and ankles.
